What the Karthi Family Story Teaches Us

A veteran-actor father. A homemaker mother. An elder brother who is also a Tamil-cinema lead. A wife from a Coimbatore textile-business family. Two children growing up in Chennai. A family of two brothers and a sister, all of whom carry forward their father's cinema legacy in different ways.

For every family — large or small, famous or otherwise — the Karthi story carries the same lesson. Younger siblings sometimes find their own path by starting elsewhere. Karthi worked as Mani Ratnam's assistant director before becoming an actor — a parallel path to his elder brother's. Write down the differences between siblings, not just the similarities.
