What the Phoenix Family Story Teaches Us

Parents who joined and left a religious group. Five children who all entered entertainment. An elder brother whose 1993 death at 23 marked the family for life. A son named after the lost brother. A partner from two NFL-owning families.

For every family — large or small, famous or otherwise — the Phoenix story carries the same lesson. Children named after deceased family members are how families keep memory alive. Joaquin's son carries the brother's name into a new generation. Write down those naming chains. They are how a tree's roots feed its new branches.
