Javier Gerardo Milei, born 22 October 1970 in Palermo, Buenos Aires, is an Argentine libertarian economist and politician — President of Argentina since 10 December 2023, after winning the November 2023 election on a chainsaw-wielding deregulatory platform.

His Personal Life

He has been deeply attached to his English mastiff Conan (1994–2017) — and has subsequently had five clones of Conan named Murray, Milton, Robert, Lucas, and Conan. What the Milei Family Story Teaches Us
A bus-driver father. A homemaker mother. A complicated parental relationship that produced a years-long family estrangement. A sister who has become her brother's most powerful aide. A long line of beloved dogs that he has spoken about as family members.
For every family — large or small, famous or otherwise — the Milei story carries the same lesson. Pets are often part of the family tree. Javier Milei's mastiffs are part of his publicly-recorded family in ways that few political figures have made theirs. Write down the pets that family members have considered to be family. The line between species blurs in many homes.
